Research Interests: Hydrogels, Nanoparticles, Biodeterioration, Cleaning, Biofunctionalization, Heritage Science

I did my BSc in Chemistry at the University of Guanajuato and then moved to Mexico City to complete my thesis at the National Laboratory of Research and Conservation for the Cultural Heritage as part of the Physics’ Institute in The National University of Mexico (UNAM) where I also did my MSc in Chemical Sciences, working with non-destructive analysis of artistic and historical objects. After the COVID pandemic hit I start working at INOVATIUM, a medical devices company as part of the Research and Innovation and Quality departament. In 2024 I started my PhD in Analytical Chemistry at The Institute of Nanoscience of Aragon (University of Zaragoza) to work on development of hydrogels for the conservation of works of art. My research interests lie between biotechnology, microbiology and nanoscience and I am especially interested in its application for cultural heritage.

Hobbies: In my spare time I enjoy dancing, watching series, and hanging out with my friends.
